We don't order your fence. We build it.
Our Aluminum, Vinyl and Composite systems are fabricated in our own shop, not ordered from a catalogue and trimmed to fit. Measured on your property, cut to your opening, installed by our own crews.
What we build
We make it, then we install it.
Most fence companies are installers — they order panels and put them in the ground. Our Aluminum, Vinyl and Composite systems come out of our own shop, cut to your opening. That's the difference between a fence that fits and a fence that was made to fit.
Fences
Vinyl, Aluminum, Composite and Wood — measured, permitted where required, and installed by our own crews. Not subcontracted out.

Single swing, double swing, sliding and automated. Built to your opening rather than trimmed to fit a stock panel.
See gates →Patio Covers
Solid roof, lattice, or a combination. Insulated panels available where the patio doubles as living space.
See patio covers →Decks
Composite and natural wood decks, built on a frame designed for the span and the slope.

Cable, glass, Aluminum, Composite and Vinyl — all built to the 42-inch guard and 4-inch sphere rules where they apply.

The honest comparison, before you get three bids
There is no single best fence material — there's the one that fits your property, your sun exposure, and how much maintenance you actually want to do. Here's how the four we carry compare.
| Material | Expected life | Maintenance | Relative cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vinyl | Lifetime limited (mfr.) | Rinse occasionally | $$ | Privacy fencing, pool surrounds, anywhere you never want to paint again |
| Aluminum | Lifetime limited (mfr.) | Essentially none | $$$ | Pool code enclosures, view-preserving perimeter, security with sightlines |
| Composite | 25–30 yr typical | Wash annually | $$$ | Wood look with no staining cycle; decking and privacy fence |
| Wood | 10–20 yr with upkeep | Stain every 2–3 yrs | $ | Budget-sensitive projects, historic overlays, matching an existing fence |
Not sure which applies to your yard? Our estimator will tell you when the cheaper option is the right one. We'd rather sell you the correct fence than the expensive one.
In the shop
Crafted, not catalogued
Every Aluminum, Vinyl and Composite system we sell is manufactured in our own facility. That's unusual in this trade, and it's the reason we can say yes to openings that aren't a standard width.
- Cut to size
- Your gate is fabricated to your opening, not trimmed down from a stock panel and packed out with filler.
- Colour and finish
- Powder coat and finish chosen from the full range, not whatever the supplier had in the truck.
- Quality control
- Every component is checked before it leaves the shop, so problems get found here rather than in your driveway.
- Showroom on site
- The shop and the showroom are the same address, so what you see on the floor is what we make out back.
How a project runs
Four steps, no surprises
The most common complaint homeowners have about fence contractors isn't price — it's not knowing what happens next. Here's exactly what happens.
On-site measure
An estimator walks the property, finds the line, checks the grade and soil, and notes anything that affects the price before it's quoted.
Written itemised estimate
You get the material, the linear footage, the gate count and the labour broken out — not a single lump number. It's yours to compare against other bids.
Permits and materials
We pull the permit where one is required and order material to the measured spec. You get a date range in writing.
Install and walkthrough
Our crew demos, hauls away, installs, and cleans up. We walk the finished job with you before we invoice the balance.
What customers say
4.5 stars across 209 reviews
LA Fence Craft designed and installed my new fence and gate. They did a beautiful job, cleaned up the job site and even spent time polishing the fence and gate. I couldn't recommend them more.
This is the second job I've had done by LA Fence Craft. From the detailed written estimate to the final clean up, they know how to get it done. I can't recommend them enough.
We hired LA Fence Craft to replace our old wooden fence. Very professional, excellent work, very clean. They even came on Sunday to make sure the job was done perfectly before our inspection.

See it before you choose it
Screens shift colour and flatten texture. Twenty minutes on the showroom floor settles a decision you'd otherwise second-guess all week — and there's usually an estimator free to walk you through it.

Common questions
Before you call anyone
The questions we're asked most, answered straight. If yours isn't here, ask us at the walkthrough.
See all questionsHow much does a new fence cost in the Los Angeles area?
Price is driven by three things: linear footage, material, and how much demolition and haul-away the old fence needs. Wood is the least expensive per foot and Vinyl and Aluminum sit above it, with Composite typically highest. Slope, hard digging in decomposed granite, and gates all add cost. We give a written, itemised price after measuring on site — not a per-foot guess over the phone.
Do I need a permit for a fence?
It depends on height and location on the lot, and the rules vary between cities and even between parcels. Rear and side yard fencing at standard residential height is often exempt, while taller fencing, street-facing fencing, and anything structural like a patio cover more often is not. Los Angeles also has designated Fence Height Districts that change what's allowed. We check your parcel before you sign.
How long does installation take?
A typical residential fence replacement is one to two days on site once materials are in. Custom gates, automation, patio covers and decks run longer. Lead time on materials is usually the bigger variable, and we give you a date range in writing with the estimate.
Do you handle the demolition of my old fence?
Yes. Removal, haul-away and disposal of the existing fence are included in the quote unless you tell us you want to keep it. There's no separate disposal charge added at the end.
What warranty do you provide?
Materials carry the manufacturer warranty, which on most of our Vinyl and Aluminum lines is a limited lifetime warranty. Our workmanship is warrantied directly by us — if something we installed fails, you call us and we handle it, with no third party in the middle.
